God's workmanship

Wednesday 11 May

God's workmanship.

Thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. I Timothy 1:12 (NIV)

T here're too many today in the Church who are overburdened by the weight of sin -consciousness - the 'feeling' that they've sinned or have done something wrong. Satan uses this as a weapon to keep them in bondage and make them ineffective. They constantly have this guilt-feeling that makes them think they're not qualified or good enough to be used of God. What they need to realize is first, that the sin-problem has been dealt with by Jesus. Plus that, God is not a man (Numbers 23:19), and doesn't judge or see the way men do. God has counted you faithful, putting you in the ministry (1 Timothy 1:12); therefore nothing and no sin should hinder your faith or dampen your zeal from doing His work. Remember, you didn't call yourself to do His work, He called you; and before He called you He knew you. He knew all the mistakes you could ever make, yet He justified you and commissioned you to go in His Name and preach the Gospel to every creature. So you have a responsibility to do God's work; let nothing stop you. Get busy for the Lord and stay on task as a soul - winner!

Confession:

The is no more condemnation because i am in Christ Jesus. He has appointed me for every good works As i walk this day, I will be a blessing where i am. changing lives through Him for i am God workmanship in Christ Jesus. Thank lord.

Memory verse;
For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do..Ephesians 2:10. (NIV)

Rejoice in the Lord!

Rejoice in the Lord!

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4. (NIV)

Some people haven't understood the power of a joyful spirit; otherwise, they'll always let the joy of the Lord that's in their spirit gain the mastery.

Christianity is not a life of gloom and sadness; it's a call to the triumphant, joyous and blissful life in Christ. You're called to live joyfully in Christ every day. Perhaps you haven't realized it, but it's your responsibility to keep the joy of the Spirit bubbling in your life. Whenever something tries to bother or depress you, don't submit to it. Rather, consciously subdue it with the joy of the Lord from within your spirit by laughing your way to victory. As Pastor M.V Thomas always says," Smile! Never stop Smiling!" Smile an expression of joy and laughter, the Bible says, refreshes you like medicine: 'A merry heart doeth good like medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones' (Proverbs 17:22).

The joy of the Lord in your spirit removes heaviness and gloom from you such that you're always exuberant with praise to the Lord and excited about life in Christ. Satan and the cohorts of darkness can't stand an atmosphere of joy, love and gladness! Therefore maintain a joyful atmosphere in your home and all around you at all times, irrespective of how you feel! Remember, the joy of the Lord is your strength, so even in the face of challenges you can rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory, knowing that your victory is assured.

Confession:

I'm a victor in Christ Jesus. Fear, heaviness and sadness have no place in me, for my faith in God and in His eternal Word is the victory that overcomes the world! I refuse to be discouraged because greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world!

Memory verse;

And provide for those who grieve in Zion to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. Isaiah 61:3. (NIV)

Safety in the ark.

Wednesday 13 April.

Safety in the ark.

So He destroyed all living things which were on the face of the ground: both man and cattle,
creeping thing and bird of the air. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those who
were with him in the ark remained alive. Genesis 7:23 (NKJV)

Have you heard about Noah the scientist in the bible? Noah was a scientist in his days, by divine revelation he was able to build an ark that happened to safe the existing creatures (animals, birds, ants, inserts and mankind) that we happen to see in our world today. Every thing they needed to survival was inside the ark. Outside the ark was great danger, no safety, for the flood covered all the hills top but inside the ark was comfort, peace, joy and hope.

Jesus is the New Testament ark of humanity. There is no danger in Him. In Him the is hope, peace, joy, happiness, protection, comfort, hope and out of Him, there is danger, hatred, fears, worries, confusions, sorrows, problems and no hope for the future. The flood covered all the hills top and every living things died only those who where with Noah in the ark.

When you come to Christ you come into a safe tower, everything you needed in life to succeed is in the ark [Christ]. Nations are falling, and systems are failing. The flood of sorrow, fear, confusion, problems is covering the hills top. Where are you standing? Where are you hiding? Where are you running or looking to? Why can’t you run to Jesus today, the ark of God and be safe. Time is running out tomorrow might be late.

Prayer.

Jesus, I come to you today. Thank you for being the ark of humanity. Please I am sorry of not being in the ark. Today I run to you for safety, only you can protect me from the evil flood, so this day I step in your ark and receive you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you in Jesus Name. Amen!

Memory verse;

And raised us up together, and made us site together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6
